I have a set number of hours I dedicate to work as day (10 hours). If you want me to spend 3 of those hours traveling then that is the employers choice.
I have a family i actually like and I have no intention of giving more time.
Edit: to add to this, when I am in the office, my productivity drops significantly, 30-60% depending on who else is in. The amount of „just had a quick question“ or „hey did you see this video“ or “ hey can you come to this meeting room 5 minutes away“ just kills your ability to focus and get anything meaningful done.
For a moment my eyes thought the headline was saying that TD was moving to a 4 day work week. I was about to give them a hi five, now they get only 4 raspberries.
