    1. This is a joke! 2 scummy guards acquitted but if it was one of their previous kids there would be uproar

That’s the primary reason we have a ‚war on drugs‘, for oppressing Irish people from poor areas.

Is it no wonder the Gardai resist any changes in our drug laws? Disgraceful behaviour here by everyone involved and it’s all entirely legal because they claimed to get a smell of cannabis.

Keep this in mind the next time Simon Harris does his stump speech about being against changes in drug policy because he listens to the Gardai.

    4. I find it funny how quickly the sub can flip flop between,

“we need less protection for teens in order to deal with the problem of antisocial youths”

      And

      “Oh this poor baby child”

    5. Heroes these two lads. Sexually assaulting a minor in public because they „smelled cannabis“.

They can now search and check out your childrens gentials,

      Not report the search,

He went back, grabbed him and put him in a “goose neck hold” before being joined by Gda Nally who used a “straight arm pressure point” technique to help restrain him after they let him go.

Subject them to *“degrading treatment” that showed “total disregard for his human rights.” -*Judge John Hughes

      All because “ They Smelled Cannabis™ „

      No better than school bullies.

The drug laws as they currently stand are just an excuse for stop and searches like this.

      Disgusting.

„Drop your jocks. Squat and cough. No, not like that, do it again. Shake. No not like that, back and forward“.

Said during a search when i was 16.

If his partner was really in labour in the Rotunda the Gardai should have probably taken that into account when he obstructed them by refusing to stop for the drug search. He’s 17 and obviously stressed by the situation, now they didn’t know he was 17 because he refused to tell them any details but you’d imagine he’d visibly be a young man. If he was smoking a joint at a maternity hospital then you’re drawing attention to yourself so no sympathy for him there really.

    10. There is more information in the Sunday worlds version, cant link it here.

„While the two gardai held him, the driver (a third Gardai) got back out, filled a cup with water from the puddle and poured onto the seat of the teen’s tracksuit bottoms, twice.“

He also dropped the victims phone in a puddle and bent his Leap and bank cards.

Fucking scumbags all 3 of them.
