      Who would have thought that thousands of young english people would celebrate our language not a few decades later. I hope they learn the words. The divide was from the above. Not the people.

      Only the first few lines are as gaeilge BUT it’s still class! The video is great as well. She’s a born performer.

      Gave it a listen, and there is some Irish in it, but it’s not in Irish. The vocal track is also horribly mixed, it’s far too quiet.

      And half of those shops have closed since this was filmed – New Look, Thunders, Bag Shop, Jack and Jones and Vera Moda have all gone.

      No way is that woman only 29???? I’d have put at least another 10 years on her.

      Semi-related, but I remember as a child thinking how cool and futuristic the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre was. I’m never up in that area, but was there last year and was excited to revisit, only to realise how generically similar it was to every other shopping centre in the country 😢
