      TLDR:

      * President Donald Trump continued his war against late-night television on Tuesday, July 22, following the recent cancellation of *The Late Show With Stephen Colbert*
      * The president claimed on social media that Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon’s shows will be the next to get the ax
      * „It’s really good to see them go,“ he wrote, „and I hope I played a major part in it!“

Look at this guy boasting that he’s getting people fired, like it’s some big achievement for someone who should be focused on way more important things. (though, of course, in saying that, freedom of the press is usually the first target of fascists; and once that’s gone, it doesn’t matter what happens next, you don’t get it back that easily, if at all)

Like the men he’s picking a fight with won’t find another way to make a living.

It’s the crew on those shows that will pay the price. And so the President who claims he’s creating jobs is really doing the opposite. Which is, of course, on par for this guy. If he says things are down, they’re more than likely to be up. If he says to turn right, turning left is your best bet.

I thought Republicans were defenders of free speech? I am assuming they are horrified and angered by this?

    4. He is so proud, 100’s of people will lose their jobs bc he can’t handle the heat.

I thought the right hated cancer culture… I guess just only when it works for them, which is their MO for everything.

Considering these shows, that are under attack and are prime outlets for Hollywood publicity, I can’t see how there won’t be major pushback from the entertainment industry.

If Trump demands that Fox News hosts, if one of them ever were to veer off script, get axed from the network what would the maga cult’s response be? I remember when Trump would call in to Fox News to whine about things and he was pissed off when the network called the 2020 election for Biden so off to NewsMax he went. The cult has no idea what ultimately awaits them.

Dude never did let that White House Correspondents‘ Dinner go, or Jimmy Fallon ruffling his hair. Utterly despicable times we’re living in.

Dictators often target comedians because they latch onto simple truths even when joking, going after them and the news. Look at any other country run by a dictator and see how they clam down on comedians, the news, artists and anyone who doesn’t toe the line.

“**You see that man, Jimmy Fallon, Baron?** He’s so unfunny.. I saw him on the TV once didn’t I, Melania? I said “what an unfunny man! He’s so unfunny” he slaps his desk so hard and I’m just left wondering – why would you slap that desk – the joke wasn’t even that funny. No, the unfunny man will lose his job”

      Leader of the free world.

      Could help people.

      Gun safety

      Inflation

      Housing crisis

      Healthcare

      Student loans

      Social Security

      But no.

He’s such a child he wants to cancel comedians, who offend him.

This is who a third of America views as a living god
