      That was one of the most amazing episodes of The Daily Show that I have ever seen! I urge everyone to go watch it right now, as long as you can handle a lot of swearing. Surprisingly, it’s uncensored on YouTube, and even the captions are uncensored!

      That whole second half was fire. Specially the song in the end, Jon telling CBS, Paramount and corporate spinless overlords exactly what he wanted to say. Also, yes FCC doesn’t regulate cable, but they can get involved if they want to (also FCC head is maga, because of course), and that’s what Jon is counting on.

      The average age of a Colbert watcher is 68 years old. How many people commenting on these posts watched Colbert at least three times a week live?

      Stewart and Colbert’s chickens are coming home to roost. They spent years tearing down left wing leaders for not being perfect, while downplaying the threat of Trump & MAGA in the early days as something relatively harmless & buffoonery. They’re not the cause of our current predicament, but they definitely are among the many who contributed to it.

      On top of all of this – there is a non-zero chance that Trump blocks the merger anyway.
