Build, baby, build
Allocating large sums of money is meaningless unless the government find a way to fast track the delivery of these projects. We’ve been talking a lot of large projects for decades but they never seem to go anywhere.
Money isn’t the problem with delivery of large infrastructure projects in this country, bureaucracy and project mismanagement is.
The headline doesn’t match the article, most of the article is about planning exemptions that other countries and states made to speed up and reduce the cost of delivering infrastructure projects. It is not a long article.
About time. Reduce the influence of all these planners and their crayons and endless navel-gazing consultations and planning documents, and get on with building.
