tldr; The article explores whether Bitcoin can replace gold as a store of value. While Bitcoin shares traits like scarcity and decentralization, academic research highlights its volatility and speculative nature, unlike gold’s stability and crisis-tested resilience. Studies show Bitcoin may act as a short-term hedge but lacks consistent inflation-hedging properties. As market infrastructure matures, Bitcoin could evolve into a more gold-like asset, but it currently serves different investor types and cannot fully replace gold.

I think at times it will and then just like gold the value will decrease in certain years

    3. Both are great, replacing either is impossible now. But gold should be prized for its utility in science, like how it’s used as a protective coating on astronaut helmets to block harmful UV rays and IR radiation.

It won’t as something the girlies and bling boys like to wear that’s impossible. But yes it will as a store of value as it is way easier to store and way easier to move Bitcoin.

And fuck it but I believe within the decade countries will back their currency with bitcoin.
