Dies wurde in den frühen 2000er Jahren mit echtem Holz erbaut. Jede Generation meiner Familie hat eine in ihren Häusern, seit meine Urgroßeltern nach Amerika gekommen sind. Der erste, der hergestellt wurde, war eine winzige in einer Hütte, in der sie während der Weltwirtschaftskrise im Wald lebten. Leider habe ich kein Foto davon.

Light is absolutely awful. I cannot see any drainage or ventilation, so overall I would not use at all.
It looks quite normal sauna, except there’s unnecessary space between the stove and the benches, also I don’t see ventilation, I hope there is one.
No air vent and the light is in the ceiling. Also we tend to put at least 3 narrow boards or 2 wide boards as levels. Other than that it looks good and comfy.
Looks completely fine. If you plan to upgrade or renovate it to make it look nicer, raise the benches a bit higher at the same time. I hope the ventilation and floor drain are fine.

Looks nice! The only thing a little off to my eyes is that the shampoos and such are on the top bench. They’re usually kept lower, no one likes them scalding hot.
You had me with the „Sauna rules“ at first, ngl, but thankfully it was just some jokes and not some bullshit like „exactly 10 minutes top bench and then this and that“ actual rules like you tend to see in Central Europe. There should be very few rules to Sauna barring common courtesy of course, but that should be ubiquitous anyway. To each their own.

Ventilation could be improved 😀
You could have 3 levels of benches, so the first one is closer to stove and the last higher than the currently highest one. Better *löyly* up there.
The bright light kills the mood, rather have a dimmer light (possibly old time yellowish) under the benches. And hopefully you get some fresh air somewhere, like others said 😅 Otherwise you’ll get dizzy because of low oxygen, not the heat.

It’s a bit weird but it looks ok. Just a lot of weird emptyness there I guess. I wonder where the water goes. No drain?
No offence ment, but looks to me almost like AI did picture of finnish sauna. On first glance it looks fine, but when looking more carefully many things are strange. No air vents, no drainage on floor? Benches look also bit strange, top bench is ok but middle part is very narrow and far away from top bench (is there planks missing?), leaving dangerous looking gap between benches. Lowest bench/stool (step?) is super narrow and almost under the bench above.
Stove looks bit small for that space and seems far away from benches. Benches could be maybe bit higher.
But sauna is sauna, and i have seen worse ones too. Many new saunas are absolutely horrible here and i would definately rather bathe in your sauna than in some of these „we just put these wooden garden chairs as benches“ style of saunas you see nowadays here.
This really feels like I am looking at the foundations of a sauna, whilst it is missing a lot of the things that make a sauna a good sauna. The actual stove is too far away 100%. You should be able to toss water at it without needing to get up. But otherwise it’s fine. You’d just need to improve upon it bit by bit.

Pretty okay. The benches seem unnecessarily narrow, though, and there’s no thermometer on the wall that tells you when the sauna is 80-90°C. In addition, the bench lacks a railing for the legs could be nice and wood tiles or a sauna mat on top of a bare concrete floor would add to the visual comfort. I also hope that your sauna has proper and functional ventilation and drainage.

I feel bad for sauna-shaming when I say that this looks like a moldy death trap, not a sauna. I’ve seen worse looking establishments with better ventilation and „vibe“ which is for me the most important thing. Still, I respect the effort and need for a hot box in the house.
The lighting combined with the room being quite big for what space is being used, I get bit eerie vibes, like some backrooms sauna.
I hope there would be a different, more warm and dim light when the sauna is used. Maybe under the seats? But overall it’s not the worst and matches the style.

Have you ever changed the sauna stones? Did you know how often they should be replaced? Also, the stove looks too small for the space and the sauna benches are quite far from it, as others have pointed out.
You could possibly paint the floor (with a paint that’s ok w high temperatures) or tile the floor neatly. In Finland, saunas mostly have nicely tiled floors – most common colors these days are darker gray or even black. People mostly use smaller tiles for floors such as 10×10 centimeter tiles.
If you want to be fancy, you could make the stove wall pretty by putting some pretty stone tiles to it and adding a beautiful lighting. It can look amazing and really nice to look at while in sauna.
Sorry to say, but with no proper drainage and ventilation it’s a wonder you don’t have visible fungi growing out the walls… Can almost smell the mold just from the picture. Not entirely sure how healthy it is to use that place?

I’d at a rail to the bottom bench. For safety, but also a way to rest your legs if you’re up top. Apart from that, the look is right to me. Can’t speak to the technical aspects of course, but looks like a home-style sauna.
Is it good?
3/10 Change door to a glass door so it would not feel like a wooden box. Add some wood grid flooring that can be lifted away when sauna is left drying. Stove is too far away from beches. None of saunas in finland have such lights on ceiling, consider replacing with something less bright.
That light on the ceiling seems kinda sus. Can’t tell from these pictures what kind of lamp that is, but I’d have it on wall, instead of ceiling, and it definitely has to be rated IP44 for waterproofing. That lamp might be an electrical hazard.
