We dont have the diplomatic pull anymore to move the needle. Telling other countries to come up to our moral standards did not work out well for Trudeau, hopefully Carney doesn’t take the bait.

Why in the world would anyone care what Canada has to say? And for what gain, exactly?
We piss off most of the world or we piss of the USA. We need to rest of the world to pivot to away from the USA, and we need the USA to not put the screws to us in the meantime.
Remain on the sidelines , release some milquetoast statement that is both sides every few months, condemn acts of hate in Canada and move right on.
