The more I hear about their shared exploits (and especially having read the text of the birthday card), the more convinced I become that DJT and JE were lovers of a kind. At the very least, in the sense of a initiator/initiant in a libertine dynamic driven by the violation *all* sexual norms, long a phenomenon among the privileged and powerful.

DJT seems to have been enamored with JE the way only an insecure narcissist can be with a grandiose narcissist. I’ve heard Ms. Williams‘ story before, and it struck me then as now that this was a sick form of foreplay for the two of them (meaning DJT and JE).

It would certainly explain DJT’s almighty crashout over this. His followers have long since dismissed his crass objectification of women and history of sexual predation as „boys will be boys“- but I don’t know how they would digest the possibility that JE and DJT were more than friends.
