Should never have been there, the bastard should have been dumped in an unmarked grave – the same treatment the church gave many poor souls

There’s a septic tank becoming available.

Now do all the nuns and priests so there is somewhere to bury 796 bodies.

The worst thing was the hypocrisy.

He raped his 5 year old niece amongst many many other awful things, and they allowed his remains to be encrypted in a cathedral like some kind of saint. Unbelievable stuff. The guy was a monster.

Should have dumped the bastard’s remains in a septic tank in Tuam. He was quite happy to have that done to innocent babies in his diocese and he was far from innocent.

The fact they put him there in the first place should be the takeaway. No praise should be received for taking him out now, the RC Church did untold harm burying him there.

RTÉ aired a documentary about him, last year I think.
Had an archival clip of a reporter getting the vox-pop on the streets of Galway after the scandals broke.
Group of women being interviewed go on a rant about how „those evil women corrupted him“…… fuckin mental stuff

If there’s anything left of him throw him into a pig sty

It’s always interesting watching old Reeling in the Years episodes cause every now and again, he pops up, and it’s like if you were watching a kids movie and fucking Jason Voorhees appeared randomly for a few minutes.
That the new burial arrangements are being kept private is probably for the best, I’d imagine there’s more than a few people would be quite willing to christen a new unisex bathroom for the fucker.

He was a repugnant piece of shit. How anyone continues donating to the Catholic Church is beyond my comprehension.
My 83 year old Ma still sends money to the church of child rapists despite my protestations.

Bizarre he was buried there in the first place, since all of this already came out in the early 2000s, and the church had already banned him from holding any sort of sort (i.e. they knew).
The church does as the church does I guess 🤷

I used to serve this POS in a restaurant I worked in (about 1990-1991), when he was on his way to Rome a few times a year. Always nice as pie at the beginning. Always with the same couple of priests I always assumed were a couple. They ate and drank nothing but the best. A different wine with each course finished off with expensive cognac or whiskey.
After a few hours of drinking the real Eamonn came out. The arrogant narcissistic prick. He got nasty real quick when things didn’t go his way.
What annoyed me the most was that he always picked up the bill at the restaurant and charged it to his Platinum American Express card emblazoned with „The Bishops Office“.
His several hundred pound dinner was of course being paid for by the parishioners who were ultimately donating to the church each week.
When the Annie Murphy saga broke I was not surprised but I was happy to see the demise of him.

And rightly so. His affair with Annie Murphy was mild compared to sexually abusing his niece, which is rarely mentioned

Hopefully they’ll throw them in the local dump or in a ditch somewhere
