No but it is one of the best. Very poor decision by cbs
Late Night was dying anyway. NBC reduced the amount of shows Fallon was doing, and they took away Seth Meyers band. It was only a matter of time.
They should have switched to a once a week gig with longer chats a long time ago. I never understood who was staying up til 10 – 11pm to watch a celebrity get interviewed for 5 minutes?
I hope he figures out a deal with PBS and or NPR
More like the death of free speech on TV.

Politics aside you could have told me colbert was canceled and I would believe it simply because it’s a dying medium.
Colbert was the only one I made point to watch. I like Kimmel too, and he has the best musical guests, but Colbert always came off as more personable. Fallon just sucks.

The same sort who argued the media is biased are also the same missing that the apparently biased media is kicking off the person who was critical of what their party is doing.
Because it’s a cult. These people are legitimately stuck inside a cult that the Republican party has been trying to build for decades that finally got the leader it needed.
I wouldn’t go that far just yet. Even within the realm of corporate mergers, there is network TV and then there is cable TV.
But what’s happening to Stephen Colbert is definitely a „canary in the mine“ moment.
