      Something tells me that Scott Moe isn’t aware of how appeasement worked out for Neville Chamberlain. His statements here also seem predicated on the assumption that Trump is rational and reasonable, which Trump has proven time and again since 2016 are things he is not.

      Hmm well the article quotes Moe as criticizing Canadian tariffs because they raise prices for Canadians. Technically true, but he misses the point that they also give us leverage and bargaining chips that are essential.

      But my biggest comment on the article is his proposal that all western provinces join a free trade zone of sorts, and drop all intra-provincial trade barriers. Good idea.

      You know what Moe? The US has made it abundantly clear that they don’t need Canada for anything, so I would like to respond in kind.

      Scott Moe is going to have to demonstrate that he can spell the word „Economy“ before any of his suggestions on what is and is not the right approach can be taken seriously

      I have indeed stopped to buy gas at places where I know it is made with Canadian oil. Fuck that shit. Fuck that buy Canadian bullshit.
