Need some good Canadian Defence ETFs!

This will be interesting.
Of all of the things Carney has done recently, the defence spending is going to be at the forefront of what is reported on in terms of the implementation.
Would be nice to see housing, wages, cost of living, affordability, unsustainable immigration, and healthcare addressed but seems each government is incapable of doing what Canadians need at the expense of our standards of living and declining way of life.
They will need to front load a lot of these.
Because future PMs will cut the defense budget to fund their future priorities.
Front loaded contracts ensure a lot of these companies won’t be left out in the dark after an election.
Then you need to deal with the fact that Canada only replaces equipment every 25 to 40 years. Hard to run a business model on your biggest customer only buying something every quarter to half century
Nothing will change until we change how defence procurement works. The current system is so bad at procuring material that it took us decades to replace ww2 era Browning Hi-Powers with Sig Sauer P320 pistols that aren’t drop safe.
