Why would anyone give a 7 year old ten slushy refills.
The danger of thm peeing blue wee on the carpet woudl be bad enough.

Isn’t glycerol just sugar substitute? If so, can we blame the sugar tax? Healthier to just use real sugar. I used to huff slush puppies on every holiday as a kid but I’m assuming they were real sugar

So that Simpsons episode where they get the ultimate squishee was lore accurate?

It’s worth being aware that glycerol can also be listed in the ingredients as glycerine – it’s the same thing.
Easy to miss, and easy for staff to simply not understand.

There needs to be a study done why slushies target 7-10 year olds but not 6 years and below

Hmm, I picked up a couple of freeze at home slushy pouches from Aldi for 99p each and there are no warnings on them not to give to young children. The only thing mentioned Iis that the cap is not suitable for under 36 months. It says no added sugar, so parents looking to cut back on this may buy them.

I am glad they’re bringing attention to this. I have a 4 year old and she’s now at the age where a slushie might have been an occasional treat on a hot day but luckily I had seen something about this. My husband had no idea and neither does anyone else I know.
I have seen warnings on some machines.
