Also war ich in Auchan Kirchberg und sah, dass Fitnessartikel einen Rabatt von 50% hatten (spezifische Marke)
Bevor ich etwas griff, machte ich für den Fall ein Foto des Angebots.
Es stellte sich heraus, dass nur Gegenstände mit einem physischen 50% Aufkleber für den Rabatt berechtigt waren. Der lustige Teil? Die genauen Produkte waren im Regal gemischt – einige hatten Aufkleber, einige nicht.
Was steht also in der Promo?

It says „on a selection of items“, so yeah technically not all of them.
The key is in this part: „sur une sélection d’articles“. It means that only a range of items will have the discount. Here is an excerpt from WordReference:

The dishonesty here is that it is a double selection: the brand + only some items of this brand
“Sur une selection” could be interpreted however they prefer.
Yeah sales can be sketchy there. I bought this game today, and I am glad that I took a picture of the sale price before checking out because it rang up as €69.99. I’ve been burnt too many times there! I showed the clerk my picture and they adjusted the price at the point of checkout (unfortunately they made my coke €39.99 and left the game €69.99! – 🙄 fortunately all was set right before I paid 😇
