    1. A subscription to Peacock is about to cost more. NBCUniversal announced on Thursday that it’s raising the price of its ad-supported Peacock Premium from $7.99 to $10.99 per month, while its ad-free Premium Plus plan will go from $13.99 per month to $16.99 per month, as reported earlier by Variety.

For new customers, the price increase will go into effect on July 23rd. Existing subscribers will see the hike on or after August 22nd, depending on when their next bill is. Peacock’s yearly plans will see similar increases, with Peacock Premium now priced at $109.99 per year (up from $79.99) and Premium Plus costing $169.99 (up from $139.99).

Nope. Whatever they think they have that’s worth that, I haven’t seen it.

    3. They will all do it eventually and continue doing it. Embrace piracy or digital and or physical copies. Streaming isn’t worth it any more.

‘Mrs Davis’ was a very good miniseries, and ‘Poker Face’ is an entertaining case-of-the-week detective show, but other than that, I used Peacock very little when I had it for a $20 for a year subscription.

Like many, I’ve been far more into culling streaming services than paying for new ones.

Forget it. I’m canceling them all and increasing my reading time. I’m tired of the bullshit. We’re paying for regular cable with commercials BY THE CHANNEL now. It’s stupid and I refuse to do it. The golden age of streaming is over, the shows look cheap and are poorly written now. I’m glad I saved all my old dvds.

Good thing I built up my movie library at home. They took away Hallmark from Peacock a few months ago and that was the main thing on there that appealed to my mom. The only Peacock exclusive show I liked was Pokerface. I can easily take a break from ever using that streaming service again.

Thanksgiving special 20/year with ads. I cancel in July so it won’t renew. Purchase new subscription every year when the ad comes out. Bad part- special is only good for a day.

And then every Black Friday, I create a fake email and get a new subscription for $0.99 for 12 months.

We canceled all our streaming services and bundled our cell phones with internet and good old fashioned basic cable. The plan also allows us to pick 20 extra channels and change them every month.

Using the cable offered cell phone plan (which piggybacks off a big cell phone service) and canceling the streaming services saves us $121.00 a month.
