Was sind Transportmittel, die Sie vom Dorf in die Hauptstadt oder in den nahe gelegenen Städten bringen? In Georgien hat es zerstört, aber ich war immer interessiert, was es in Österreich oder anderen EU -Ländern ist

In Austria you take the Postbus
Trains and busses.
trains, or busses (modern full sized busses) in smaller villages
Ah, the good old Marschrutka.
This does not exist in this form in Austria, it is mostly regular busses and trains. There are some Marschrutkas going to Easter Europe though from bigger cities.
While far from perfect, the regional train network here is actually very good compared to other countries. Additionally, there’s the Postbus system offering connections to areas that are far (>20km-ish) from the next railway. Long-range taxis are available, but rarely used and pretty expensive.
I may get downvoted for this, but public transport here is quite nice, even outside Vienna. Had far worse experiences in Scotland and Ireland. And in Georgia. But the people and Kindzmarauli make up for that!
Bus, or bus to nearby train station, then train. In Germany it’s the same.
There’s Slovaks coming with horse carts and driving us around. Just like our dear Kaiser would have liked it.
