President Donald Trump on Wednesday seemed furious at members of his own MAGA base critical of his administration’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files, accusing them of falling prey to a “hoax” and declaring that he doesn’t “want their support anymore.”

In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump blamed his fans for showing interest in the Epstein probe despite his repeated pleas for them to move on.

One of the few objectively humorous things about the Trump era is how endlessly disappointed he is that the sort of people who support him have no prestige of their own to speak of that he can use to make himself look good. He’s never liked them, that they’d bathe in his piss if he would deign to share it with them remains sort of grim.
