      Apparently she’d been driving with a boatload of demerits against her already. Nobody would get their license suspended for one speeding offence. She’s clearly not a great driver in general, lol.

      Why would the streets near Oxford have a speed limit in MPH and not KPH?

      Edit: downvotes because I asked a question. Sorry, I thought all of Europe was on the KPH system. Now you will tell me that the UK drives on the right side of the road.

      Is that standard practice in the UK to give tickets for going 8 mph over the limit? If her previous infractions are of similar nature, that seems pretty crazy to me. I live in TX and people routinely drive 15-20mph over the limit. It’s expected.

      She was > 25% over the speed limit, that probably has some kind of consequence.
