      Of all the ways he could have played this, this seems the worst (for him).

      Never saying anything or doing anything about the Epstein files would have been better. Selectively releasing some minor files would have been better. Releasing redacted files would have been better.

      But running on this scandal, then doing a 180 and calling it a hoax seems crazy. He’s being calling everything Dems accuse him of of being a hoax, so MAGA are suddenly getting a taste of what that’s like.

      We don’t have to live like this.

      We can be done with this colossal loser tomorrow. Two votes and he’s out.

      We can just have an ordinary leader who wants the country to do well, wants the best for its people, and does his job to make sure that happens.

      We don’t have to have a conman or a malicious asshole hellbent on grifting and golfing. We don’t have to have a billionaire who lets his billionaire pals pillage our Treasury.

      We don’t have to have a rapist or a pedophile.

      There are dozens of capable public servants of all political backgrounds ready to lead and make America a great country. We don’t have to give up our democracy so this lifelong creep can continue to avoid accountability.

      I’m old enough to where I remember conservatives dunking on Obama for “blaming Bush”, even though, if I remember correctly, he didn’t directly blame Bush himself (maybe he did mention his policies, though, idk?) and that was really only about why the Great Recession wasn’t fixed within a day.

      Trump though can blame Biden for this, for the Texas flood disaster, the planes that crashed back in January, etc., and nobody says a thing
