This wasn’t a lie (I mean it was obviously), this was a confused and disoriented man who barely could tell where he was. On stage he tried to talk to someone that was still in Washington, couldn’t find someone that was sitting next to him, literally looked like he was falling asleep in front of the microphone. He claimed to have secured 16 trillion dollars in investment in the US (the GDP is 29 trillion, so this is comically incorrect).
This was disturbing.

Reminds me of my MIL with dementia. She could take any particular word, subject or trigger then confabulate a detailed fascinating story. Mention the word Woodstock and you’d hear a great incredible story about when she was there. She never was.
