Ich habe jetzt schon eine Weile meinen Dream -PC gebaut und bin im gesamten Setup um 4000 € gesunken. Eine der Schlüsselkomponenten war offensichtlich der Asus tuf rtx 5080, den ich für 1529 € bei Verkokokauppa bestellte.
Heute bin ich endlich zum Teil des Builds gekommen, in dem ich die GPU installiere. Ich öffne die versiegelte Schachtel und im Inneren ist… kein RTX 5080.
Stattdessen finde ich einen Gigabyte A4000, einen billigen Dual-Fan-Kühler und wörtliche Metallgewichte in der Schachtel.
Ich brachte es direkt nach Verkkokauppa zurück und jetzt „untersuchen“ sie, ob es sich um ihren Fehler handelte oder nicht. Im Moment bin ich eine GPU und eine GPU und 1500 € aus.
Die Schachtel war versiegelt und sah völlig legitim aus. Dies kam direkt von ihnen – ich habe mich nicht mit irgendetwas angemacht.
Hat noch jemand so etwas erlebt? Und wie schütze ich mich davor, für etwas verantwortlich gemacht zu werden, was ich eindeutig nicht getan habe?

1500€ for a 5080 is ridiculous.
Back in the days this was a common scam people pulled (or tried to pull off) with Gigantti as they had pretty relaxed return policy. Order something, take it out of the box, replace with something else and return it. I was working there 15 (ish) years ago and we got such returns couple of times per month. Occasionally somebody didnt pay attention to what was returned and they were circulated back to store and ”unopened” items were sold as new and opened as used (or whatever the outlet was called back then, I cant recall)
I would suspect someone have managed to pull this off with verkkokauppa.com and as the package looked unopened, it was sold as a new. You just got unlucky.
It must be a return where the customer very skillfully opened the box without breaking the seal. In that case Verkkokauppa should have some idea who returned it and be able to tell that it was in fact a return and should refund you.
