The theory of how I make your money mine
I can understand German nice
Probably some sort of „join my telegram group and spend money to find out!“
> It’s a UK number and i know this is some sort of scam i guess but how or what would this scam out of me? All this did was confuse me
No need to understand or engage with scammers. Just block and move on.
They’re trying to lure you into a conversation and later get you to invest money. It’s a so-called “wrong number” scam and very common.
They don’t care if millions of people just delete the text – all it takes is one person engaging with them and trusting the scammer enough to send over their savings. Often, damages can be in the 10k-100k range.
Wrong number scam, where the person behind, which likely sits in a country like Myanmar, will pretend to have contacted the wrong number but keep the conversation active to in reality lure you into a romance scam.
Just delete without a comment or if you do want to mess with them, waste their time (but keep in mind that this will likely cause more scammers to contact you since they now know your number is active). And also keep in mind that this might cost you money unless it’s iMessage.
From a UK number, not from the UK. Huge difference. 😂. if you know, you know
r/Scams can propably explain how the scam works.
