    1. What an evil spineless woman. Let’s hope a proper sentence is handed down. I hope the child survivor is with people who love and care for her. In circumstances like this where a parent is involved and convicted parental rights should be separated.

There’s a story like this nearly every day, and Ireland isn’t even that big ffs.

Shocking. An unbelievable tale of indescribable depravity. That poor child. Those rotten, misbegotten adults. I do hope the victim can find some peace after all she has endured.

I don’t feel it’s right that her therapy notes are allowed to be used as evidence, what’s the point in therapy when anything you say, can and will be used against you? How traumatic is that what they put innocent victims through. I can see why many don’t come forward, it’s too traumatic and victims seem to be given no help or support at all from the government.

I often wonder about defence barristers in this situation – how can they defend slime and try get them off on a point of law or a technicality.

I shouldn’t have read that, and to be fair I don’t understand the point of explaining the abuse in such vivid detail in this article. Seems in bad taste, fair enough the jury has to hear it but I don’t get why the general public should hear the specifics like that.

It’s hard to believe the level of evil that exists in this world.

The one instance where north korean justice would be best implemented.

The girl is truly a stronger person than me. I have no idea how she functions or even remains in this life. I really wish her all the best going forward and hope she can get the most out life now

How can a defence barrister live with themselves after weaponising a raped child’s counselling notes like that. Disgusting carry on.

      > A woman has been convicted on a charge of facilitating the rape of her six-year-old daughter after a trial at the Central Criminal Court.

      >The girl’s uncle was also convicted of rape.

      >The mother of the child was also convicted on two charges of sexual assault.

      What the fuck?

    10. That was hard to read and makes me question what punishment is enough for people like this.

Disgusting that this happened to the poor child, it reads to me that the uncle is the main culprit here and in my opinion he’s been abusing and manipulative to his sister all of her life and has her brainwashed into believing this is a normal carry on.

Not saying she’s innocent but I don’t see how anyone could let that happen their child without a serious history of being abused themselves
