      So they decide to show of their latest new graphics system to us by pubishing a series of blurry and out of focus photos.

      That’s the kind of thing RTÉ should be spending money on. The weather forecast is hugely useful and popular, and actually a public service, yet it often looks like they were stuck with 1990s software. Half the time the presenters look like they’re out of focus as they’re obviously being shot with a standard def camera, with questionable lighting, against a green screen, and then being broadcast in HD.

      Looks like an improvement from the little you can gauge from a couple of crappy low resolution photos.

      Always found their rainfall graphics in particular really weird, where it’s made up of big blotches that move in a really unnatural way and kind of fade in and out

      Bring back the flat map with room for exactly 4 weather emojis.

      You had to figure out if you were closer to the cartoon grey cloud or the cartoon dark grey cloud.
