What did the knife look like?
Since i did a google search on both and they look rather similiar.

No, it’s puukko.
Yakutian knife is very similar in design, which kinda makes sense since both are utilitarian knifes from rather similar environments.
General purpose knives tend to look somewhat similar despite their origin.

It is a puukko
I have no idea what the knife in the video looks like, but having just googled what a yakut knife looks like… those are certainly close enough in design for Finns to accept them as puukkos, too. There’s a great deal of variety in puukkos, you know.
