I don’t know much about Levent’s writings, haven’t really read them all, but I do personally believe that the only way forward for Cyprus is Cypriotism. IDC about your ethnicity as long as you are loyal to this island and its people, all of them, first.
With that in mind, this is a positive step. Whether for political grandstanding purposes or otherwise at the very least the Republic should care for all of its citizens equally. I can’t though take Christodoulides seriously when he allows things like the “protest law” to pass. I know he can’t veto it directly but show some leadership, come out against it, anything lmao.
