      Rosie O’Donnell checks a lot of boxes for Trumpers. A woman. Independent. A lesbian. Has her own success. Outspoken. A core tenant of Trumpism is women “knowing their place” in the hierarchy. He correctly discerns (sort of) that a lot of his base doesn’t think women should have any standing in the public sphere of political, religious or economic power. He threatens to revoke her citizenship. For being a woman who talks. Some real fun boomer-humor you got there Grandpa. FFS, even the MAGA in-laws I know would hesitate before inviting him to Thanksgiving, but they vote for him. They compartmentalize very well.

      For those who don’t know, Rosie moved to Ireland with her minor child. I would encourage each and every American who has a pathway to citizenship in another country to take it. If your grandparents were immigrants see if their birthland will let you have citizenship. I don’t approve of what Israel is doing to Palestine but I won’t judge any Jew who gets citizenship.

      For now the Supreme Court said he can only ship stateless people to El Salvador but I don’t doubt his end goal is to ship away people he doesn’t like.       My take is that if anyone in ICE or the government attempts in any way to deny a citizen of their natural rights that all citizens are obligated to respond as if this was an attack on their own natural rights.
