Hallo Zuammen, ich versuche, eine DSL -Verbindung herzustellen, und wurde gebeten, den Zugang zur APL (Hausanschlusskasten) im Gebäude zu gewährleisten.
Ich habe den Keller, den Dachboden und die Außenwände durchsucht und diese Schachtel auf dem Dachboden gefunden. Es hat ein Festnetz -Telefonsymbol, aber ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, ob dies der richtige ist.

Seems pretty likely to me, yeah. It’s got a main line going in, and a few thinner lines to TAE sockets going out. It’s probably what you’re looking for.
Also have a look at the Wikipedia article for [APL](https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abschlusspunkt_Linientechnik), it has a picture.
Basically you want the first box where phone lines come in from outside the house.
That means if the pipe below your box actually goes outside the house (and if it’s in the attic then probably you have one of the few remaining free-standing non-underground phone lines to your house, so you should see the connection on the outside), you have found it.
If your house just has a weird way to distribute phones lines through the attic, and the pipe goes to the basement, then you have not found it, and it’s probably in the basement.
