They haven’t ever been for the working and barely even pretended to care for as long as I can remember, Democrats were for awhile but they seemed to give up on that by the end of the 90s.
Currently no one supports the working class which explains not only many of our country’s problems but a lot of the near universal hatred of the government.

How many times do these people need to be shown that they can’t have Dem and progressive policies and Republican politicians? Politics isn’t an a la carte menu. These paid family or medical leave programs are funded directly from a tiny little payroll deduction just like unemployment is paid for. So they do not take any money from the State’s general fund. The PFML programs are fully self funded. So to repeal this is pure hate for the middle and lower classes. Most executives have private pfml coverage as part of the executive pay package.

It’s frustrating to see GOP/MAGA politicians pushing policies that hurt hardworking Americans, while so many people still support them. These leaders promote agendas that benefit the wealthy and powerful, leaving everyday Americans behind. It’s hard to understand why voters keep choosing this path, only to face the same struggles and then ask what went wrong. The truth is, this is what happens when you support people who don’t have your best interests at heart.

Doug Ducey the former gov of AZ overturned the school voucher initiative after voters had voted to strike it down (worth noting he benefited immensely as he had 3 kids attending one of the most prestigious Pvt schools in phoenix). Can’t recall how, but of course it was in some shady way via willing gop house members. He and Jan Brewer (gov prev to him) also sold land and water rights to the Saudis for pennies on the dollar w ZERO limit on how much water they could use to grow alfalfa….in the middle of the desert…because it is ILLEGAL to grow alfalfa in the Saudi desert because its so water intensive. Oh and they also helped turn many prisons into private ones. The GOP prove time and time again they are the party of ME ME ME!
