I’m so tired of a new headline every time the orange orangutan throws his shit at someone. The fact that half the country seems to be ok with all this is all the evidence you need to know we lost our democracy awhile ago.

I’m trying to figure out exactly how this happens — it appears prior to every public appearance by Trump, every Republican chosen to speak is instructed to start their speech by telling Trump how absolutely fucking magnificient he is.

Seems like he’s happy to talk about the flood when there’s another topic he’d prefer to talk about even less.

The be clear, the reporter’s question was, essentially, “What do you say to families who say that potential flood warnings were not issued far enough in advance?”
So not only did Trump completely pivot and not in any way answer the question posed to him, but in true Trumpian style, he attacked the reporter for daring to even ask the question.
