…I’m going to throw up after hitting send on this comment but for once I agree with MGT, which is wild since I consider her the craziest fucking person in politics.
The thing about the far far right is that they actually do hate endless wars.
Both Gabbard and Hegseth rode in on a wave of anger over the Iraq War and GWOT. A lot of right-wingers and soldiers were angry that we seemingly went there for no good reason, and we got no real answers for it.
They’re crazy because they weave in all this anti-Semitic Q conspiracy bullshit, but they’re driven by wanting to isolate America and focus inward more. I don’t agree with it, but it means we all occasionally align on issues like AIPAC and Israel no longer driving American politics.
Besides, without foreign money and influence, Democrats would decimate Republicans. They’re being propped up through a lot of corruption and foreign financing since billionaires have no allegiance to any nation.
Weirdly, she’s also raising a fuss over the Epstein files.
Israel shouldn’t be getting a single penny from the US.

I don’t like Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG), and that grotesquely understates the animosity that I feel for her. However, there is merit to this proposal. Israel is a modern, well-armed country with nuclear weapons. I think that such a country does not need military aid.

She’s essentially forwarding the thesis that Trump has become The Establishment, and setting herself up as being an outsider relative to that. That’s forward-thinking; it could keep her afloat with her personal base even if the bottom falls out of the main cult. Give the devil her due.
