I just paid $2.99 per gallon in the DFW area of Texas. It’s been bobbing around from $2.69 to $2.99 lately with $2.99 being much more common.
Filled up for around $2.25 a gallon in South Denver November of last year. Cheapest I have seen in the same area in the last four months is at around $2.70 with average right at $3. The same people who were screaming gas is $6 when the pump said $3 are now staring at the same $3 price and saying $1.99. Typical

Yet no reporter has asked him, „Where? Where is gas $1.99 a gallon?“ It’s not a hostile question, it’s a reasonable question and should be pointed out as such.

2) Someone questions him on it. Trump spokesperson or right wing-grifter says „What Trump actually meant…..“ (in this case it’s that he was talking about the „wholesale“ gas price, of course)
3) Right wing grifters post online about „you dont hate the media enough“ and „media caught having TDS again.“

Current average in the US is $3.25/gallon. During the last 5 years it’s MOSTLY been within +/-10%, but it’s *slightly* less than exactly a year ago.
