Thats good. I’ve always said the president of the USA shouldn’t be held to any account and that no law should impeded the president’s unanimous power. Im pretty sure that’s what the us constitution is about. I don’t know I’ve never looked at it but someone said that I think.

You basically have a dictatorship in the States if the Supreme Court approves every Trump executive order. The legislature right now is a Trump rubber stamp and if SCOTUS is the same, then Trump can do all sorts of things from EO and it is all legal.

Like he could issue an EO saying he can now fire Governors or Mayors and if SCOTUS says he can do that, then that’s gonna happen. Or he can say he will run again in 2028 and SCOTUS may rubber stamp it too.

If they want to give the executive branch free rein like this, then there needs to be some kind of process to trigger special elections for when the executive branch gets out of hand. Because otherwise what you are telling us is that the only way we can now expect a fascist to be stopped is through violence. If a civil war does happen, the blood will be on the hands of the Supreme Court and the Congress that refused to hold up their end of the balance of power.

No it hasn’t.

The SCOTUS ruled district courts were exceeding it’s authority. There’s nothing in law or history of „universal injunctions“ in the United States as they’ve been a more contemporary modern invention. It created issues of judge shopping where the minority party would go to a friendly judge to block the President from acting.

This obviously creates an issue and we can see that play out over the last few Presidents including Obama, Bush, and Biden. SCOTUS simply told Judges to do their job and not exceed their authority. If a nationwide ruling needs to happen that is exactly what SCOTUS is for.

This is also what class action lawsuits exist for. As if a group of people have an issue they can band together to get it addressed. However courts have historically only allowed to rule on the matter in regards to the parties before them only.

The issue being federal district judges aren’t beholden directly to the people like the President and Congress are. While the people have indirect influence via the President and Congress being involved in the nomination process there’s no real way for people directly to remove judges and part of this is to keep them non partisan.

So having a Judge that’s usurping authority excess of their position is wrong and they needed to be held accountable. All their actions did was add layers of bureaucracy stifling the will of the people. Hell we even see them go so rogue as effectively saying a legal act of Congress defunding planned parenthood.

Note that’s the big beautiful Bill regardless if you like it or not was an act of Congress which supposedly controls how money is spent. So you have these judges not just infringing on the President but on Congress. If this continues these judges are going to make the situation worse for them or others in the future with their actions.

If anything Trump’s second term will reinforce the need for people to not only get more invested in their representatives but how the process works overall. Primaries, constitutional limits of each respective branch, and the proper role of the Federal government itself. That is if we can get past our own partisanship.
