He always knows just the right thing to say. Because he is a stable genius.

And then he discards that and says the most ridiculous insulting thing because he is a sociopath.

I had a GREAT day in the stock market. Sure, I lost $300,000, but I could’ve lost a million!

If it weren’t for Republican failures to not upgrade the known bad system there could have been fewer to none.

I hate the idea that disaster response is the only thing that matters, not disaster mitigation, preparedness, etc… as well.

The same people defending this atrocity, are the same people who raged about Biden over Fema only giving 500 dollars for disaster relief (which was false).

    6. Trump is just re-using his lines from Covid.

Of course he thinks 100 deaths is peanuts compared to all the Americans he killed in his first admin.

What are you weeping parents complaining about? It could have been a lot worse!

    8. God knows if this had been California he’d be saying how shit of a job the state has done.

If by „great“, you mean „let it happen because of government and conspiracy bullshit.“ Then yes, they did do a great job.

Said it once, but it deserves repeating. I’m more than convinced he’s trying to cull the population of America. After all, the less people there are, the less they’ll „be corrupted“ or „vote for the wrong party“.

Trump should go down there and throw out some kitchen rolls to the victims and emergency workers.

Rescue and recovery workers are to be lauded, but that there were no evacuations prior to the flash flood is a giant, reeking failure of disaster preparedness. They had time to get those children out of danger. The first flood watch was issued at 1:18 pm on the 3rd. A flash flood **warning** was issued at 1:14 am on the 4th. Water levels did not start to spike until 3:45 am, 2-1/2 hours later. If they had heeded the flood watch on Thursday afternoon, they could have WALKED those children to higher ground.

      There. Was. Time.

Where children are involved, you evacuate early. Years ago, when my son was attending Cub Scout camp, a wildfire broke out miles away, and they evacuated the campground immediately. The risk to the kids‘ safety was too great to take any chances. Why didn’t the authorities in Texas similarly enact an emergency evacuation protocol when the initial flood watch was issued?

Again, this was a giant, reeking failure of disaster preparedness.

As for Donald Trump, his lack of appropriateness in the midst of tragedy defies words. There is something broken in that man’s brain.

They could have lost 0 people if the county prepared for it. Remember they chose not to.

      Disaster is victory

The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

      He’s an absolute moron.

They lost 100 people because they weren’t prepared for a flood and didn’t want to spend on a warning system before it.

The message isn’t it could have been worse: it’s it should have been better.

And he can thank the Mexican fire departments stepping up to help while he wastes resources that could be helping because he wants to terrorize brown people in LA instead of being a sniveling little slug shriveling up at the merest hint of criticism like the grotesque rotten being that he is.

    15. During his campaign, Donald Trump went to Asheville and told everyone it was unacceptable that 42 people died due to unprecedented flooding and said it was a Biden failure.

Today, after Trump already won your vote, he tells you to shut up and keep pulling bodies out of the river – just be happy it’s only ~100 and not 300.

This goddamn buffoon…absolutely every stupid fucking thing that comes out of his face hole is the antithesis of humility, truth, and decency. 🤮

Now how many Texans are willing to admit this is the president they voted for? This is the response they voted for. This is the support they voted for. This is the community they voted for.

    20. These comments perfectly illustrate the insensitivity to suffering and utter lack of humanity exuded by this sociopathic wannabe *Führer,* who signed a law 4 days ago which, among other horrific outcomes, will screw 17 million Americans out of health insurance coverage; slash the enrollment period to secure lower-cost coverage through the Affordable Care Act; ratchet up out of pocket costs for tens of millions more not immediately kicked off Medicaid; strip food assistance from teens aging out of foster care, veterans and the homeless…just to name a few of the more despicable assaults on the already poor and downtrodden perpetrated by Trump and every congressional Republican voted “YES.”

    21. Let’s not forget his response to the Malibu fires: „Governor Gavin Newscum refused to sign the water restoration declaration put before him that would have allowed millions of gallons of water, from excess rain and snow melt from the North, to flow daily into many parts of California, including the areas that are currently burning in a virtually apocalyptic way,”.
