Hallo, ich berechne mein Auto seit 3 Jahren in der Garage meiner Wohnung mit dem normalen Haushaltssocket. Nachdem ich neulich mein neues Auto aufgeladen hatte, wurde mir gerade klar, dass die Steckdose geschmolzen war. Ich habe mich bereits mit dem Gebäudemanagement kontaktiert, damit sie es reparieren können, aber ich habe mich gefragt, wie viel sie mich dafür in Rechnung stellen werden.

How much power are you draining from there? The 16A rating probably doesn’t take into account that cars take long hours to charge…
Does your car have the option to charge at a reduced rate? Maybe try that in future. Lower the build up of electrical heat running through the socket.
As a new socket is about 5e but the syndicate will take full advantage, they will certainly not be charging at a reduced rate! 😆
This is a 7 eur socket from Baumarkt, don’t expect wonder from it. Highly likely the connection with plug was not good and it caused local heating. I would say 150 eur is what electrician may charge you.
