They seemed to be able to absorb the hits well enough. More than likely they were just lucky as well. I suppose they can’t see shit out of those things. Continually bunching up and running into each other.
This just looks so funny.
Extra armor isnt going to hinder an IFV much other than speed and they probably aren’t loaded with ammo. I’d also like to note that dismounts were immediately targeted with drone dropped grenades.
A few tanks would have made a complete mess of this lot.

I don’t know what their numbers look like, but the Queen Hornet might be the best way to deal with shed tanks. I have heard that it costs around $1,000, so maybe twice as much as the regular FPV.
With 7 kg of payload, it could carry a far larger shaped charge … for example the 15 pound M2A4 shaped demolition charge … but likely best to use one designed for anti-armor, not demolition. The Queen Hornet could carry the usual PG-7VL RPG Warhead, but also carry an additiol an 5 kg of high explosives. It would very likely blow the shed parts right off. Or they can double the RPG warhead and att an extra 2 kg HE, or finally, just triple the RPG warheads.
Best would be if Ukraine could be sent larger anti-tank warheads, such as the same one that Javelin and Switchblade 600 uses. But I am guess that these are custom and produced only small batches.
Regardless, with 7 kg to play with, there is a good chance that the shed tank (or any tank for that matter) can be taken out with a single FPV drone attack. That will actually save money, and often incapcitates the crew as well, and finally will help stop breakthroughs by not tying up multiple drone pilots hitting a single tank.
A strategy against these turtles = place an upward facing shaped charge onto the drone, with magnetic/timed trigger, and instead of hitting the tank’s turtle shell, go land right in front of it, and let it drive over the drone. Bottom is the least defended, it has half the armor that the back of the tank has.
