It’s always seemed stupid to me that people think people only commit suicide because they are severely depressed. IMO, it’s plausible that he really did.
There’s no reason to believe that he’s actually dead. His public character died. It’ll be too risky to take out the guy with all the evidence. Him and Ghislaine are spending the rest of their lives somewhere relaxing.
