I think when people do this sort of dumb thing, it should be mandatory for her to go to Texas, and tell people to their faces, in front of the over flowing rivers taking full size SUV’s downstream, that it’s fake.
Any politician – candidate or otherwise – who thinks something awful is fake or ethereal should be made to face it directly. Flooding? Send them to one of the recovery sites and have them help out for a few hours. Tornado response? Same thing. Earthquake? Let em take a look. Face it with their eyes.
The digital age has obfuscated reality to some people. I understand how we got here, but it’s time to get out of it. No more pretending that something you don’t like isn’t real. As far as I know we cannot control the weather, we can influence it, but not control it. We have made huge strides in predicting the weather, giving us warnings of severe weather headed our way. The Trump administration has cut funding for many of these “useless” services.
From weather warnings to healthcare to prices. We all pay for his arrogance.
