But screw them.”

Do you never kill no matter what — which is what Superman believes — or do you have some balance, as Lois believes? It’s really about their relationship and the way different opinions on basic moral beliefs can tear two people apart.”

>“This Superman does seem to come at a particular time when people are feeling a loss of hope in other people’s goodness,” the Guardians of the Galaxy director shared. “I’m telling a story about a guy who is uniquely good, and that feels needed now because there is a meanness that has emerged due to cultural figures being mean online.”

This IS the right movie at the right time.

Kind of surprised James Gun has elected to politicize a movie this big literally 1 week before it comes out. republicans *hate* immigrants seems like he’s poisoning a well of ticket buyers.

Superman has always been presented as an immigrant so at least he is keeping it true to canon.

I’d like to see Superman take on ICE.

Truly moronic. If every immigrant can save the world they would be much more popular. It’s not like he awakens his powers cause people were nice to him, he was super human from the beginning. The only thing that kindness did is making a force for good not evil, and the message of treat people nice because if not they will be super villains doesn’t really work cause it implies if we aren’t nice to immigrants they will destroy our country which is not how you get people to treat immigrants well.

It’s about time Gunn stopped fence sitting. I’m glad he’s taken a stand.
