Let’s take a quick look at the Big Dick Energy scale (BDE), and see which nuggets are on each hanging tray.
Money. BDE winner? Musk.
Bombastic personality. BDE winner? Trump.
Consistency in position. BDE winner? Trump.

With the scales mostly in balance, you have to look at the boulder sitting next to the scale, large enough to break it into a thousand pieces. The Establishment.
The political establishment made it impossible for anyone not selected to get a chance at being elected. The staunch Democrat RFK, Jr? Marginalized by his political party. The staunch Democratic Socialist Bernie? Totally marginalized and spanked and neutered like a bad dog by his political party. H. Ross Perot’s Reform party? Never to be heard from again. Dr. Ron Paul’s Libertarian party? Yeah, How’d that work out?
So, the final winner of the BDE is neither. Trump, a former Democrat, knew damned well they wouldn’t give him the time of day, and were in total control in 2015 when he came down the escalator. However, the Republicans were kind of a rudderless ship at the time. A room full of POTUS candidates, with Jeb Bush as the „best option“.
Trump hijacked that party, after finding out it was a lot easier to do than have the entire establishment come down upon your head with talk of competition to them.

I think he will be more successful with forming this party then people think. People are pissed that the government keeps spending more and more and we are further into debt. And all these politicians putting Israel first is pissing people off as well.
