[Apple](https://gizmodo.com/tech/apple) is reportedly holding discussions with [OpenAI](https://gizmodo.com/openai-receipts-elon-musk-wanted-openai-merge-tesla-1851311626) about using the startup’s AI technology to power some features coming to the [iPhone](https://gizmodo.com/apple-iphone-16-1851244717) later this year, [Bloomberg](https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-04-26/apple-intensifies-talks-with-openai-for-iphone-generative-ai-features?srnd=undefined&sref=P6Q0mxvj) reported on Friday.
