      Except that Trump and Noem both visited on the opening day kickoff giving the whole brand new United States Federal Concentration Camp Florida their approval. The fact that they are calling it Alcatraz signifies that it is comparable to Federal Prison Alcatraz.

      5. Tell everyone you’ve never heard of the horrible thing because you’re already bored with it and spending all your energy thinking up the next horrible thing.

      Everything about it is illegal. During a hurricane all 5,000 people would have to be moved away or they will drown. Desantis is having his buddy’s private for-profit companies build and manage it with no bid contracts and he is keeping all the contracts illegally hidden.
      This thing costs $400 million a year and all of that is going to for-profit companies as a scam.
      They built the cheapest prison of all time, but some how it costs $80,000 a year per bed. Each bed could have its own 1:1 prison guard at that price.

      Everything about this is a scam and the only reason DHS would back away is they know bad information is about to be released of all the illegal activity.

      In any case, DeSantis received campaign donations from at least one of the contractors. So he owns the Gator Grift, perhaps more than he had wanted:

      The parent company ARSGEM has a less than stellar history. From 2024:

      Trump really hates DeSantis

      “In a court filing Thursday responding to a lawsuit from environmental groups, the DHS claimed that it had “not implemented, authorized, directed or funded” the construction of the new ICE detention center made up of tents on a defunct airstrip in Miami-Dade County.

      “Florida is constructing and operating the facility using state funds on state lands under state emergency authority and a preexisting general delegation of federal authority to implement immigration functions,” the filing said. “

A majority of states have such an agreement with ICE, which allows immigration officers to collaborate with state and local officials.”

      – so if the above is true, then Democratic states can choose/instruct ICE not to detain aliens and Trump can do nothing? You see, this is the issue they want their cake and to eat it too.

      They want to say “we built this detention facility” and when the rooster comes home to roost, they deny it and it becomes floridas problem.

      This is where the rest of the states are dumb. I would be looking at this statement as a Dem and taking it at face value. The only way to beat these idiots is to play their game.

      “Oh, it’s for the states to decide?”, in that case stop ICE from detaining people in your states.

      So Western NC doesn’t get the Fema money offered, but plan to give Florida 450 million (or did plan) of Fima money to build a concentration camp. Everyday I wake up, hoping it makes sense, and I just can’t. I feel like I’m stuck in a horrible nightmare that I can’t wake up from.

      So, no money in FEMA for disaster relief, but $450 million for a concentration camp? Think about this Floridians when the hurricanes arrive.

      They’re realizing that rainy season started in june and all the access roads and service roads will be underwater. HURRICANE season is worst between September 15th and 30th, when hurricanes are more active.
      This was a bad idea before they started. DeSantis saw an opportunity to distract from the $10million he and his wife embezzled for the Florida Republicans.
