Ich verkaufe einige Artikel auf dem FB-Marktplatz und erhalte Nachrichten von verschiedenen Profilen darüber, dass ich einen Lieferservice für die Abholung der Artikel nutzen soll.
Es ist lange her, dass ich Artikel auf FB in Luxemburg verkauft habe, aber ich habe mich immer persönlich getroffen, um den Umtausch durchzuführen.
Meine Intuition sagt mir, dass dies wahrscheinlich nicht legitim ist, aber da es schon Jahre her ist, seit ich den FB-Marktplatz das letzte Mal genutzt habe, wollte ich nachsehen, ob hier irgendjemand so etwas tatsächlich erfolgreich gemacht hat?

You are correct, it’s a scam. It happens a lot on Marketplace
ETA: it works like this: They’ll tell you that they will send you the money with a courrier. They will tell you that the envelope has to be insured by you because it is cash but you shouldn’t worry because they have added the insurance money to the envelope. Then they will give you a (fake) link to the website of the courrier requiring your credit card info.
With all the payment methods available nowadays sending cash via courier is a really laughable attempt 😂
