Well, the Safarovs are obviously simple honest businessmen with no connection to Aliyev

Well done Azerbaijan! I am from Bucha, Ukraine. While these were „outside politics“ and did not believe that their army tortured and killed people in my country, I saw mass executions with my own eyes. Now let them try the same methods on themselves.

Welp, another country added to my no go list, together with Somalia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Mali, Chad, South Sudan, Sudan, Libya, Syria, Yemen, etc. The optics are pretty bad, you gotta admit. What guarantees are there for me, as a Macedonian citizen, that I won’t end up like these guys if for some reason Azerbaijan gets into some diplomatic scuffle with my home country?

Well, this says a lot about Azerbaijan under Aliyev absolute hereditary monarchy. Russia is in the wrong, but doing the same to innocent random people just shows that you are not any better.

Shame. That’s where the real Nazism is. By the way, Putin doesn’t need them either. But Aliev behaved like an ogre.

Lmao literal mafiosos being pulled out of bulletproof G-wagons vs dweeby IT workers escaping the SMO.
The pure irony is that Azerbaijan taught these guys that maybe Putin ain’t that bad. 😂

As a westerner: the bloodied faces put on display is disgusting. I was considering travelling through Azerbaijan, but now I am having 2nd thoughts. Beating them is a poor attempt at making them look ‚guilty‘.
Due process is important, and this is a terrible look to the rest of the world. I wish Azerbaijan was democratic because it seems like a beautiful country.

Azerbaijanis, if I may ask, are you feeling alright about this? Do you think it’s justified? I mean, I don’t really like our liberals, but not THAT much…

Third world attitude is blooming among two alike dictatorships. Newsflash!

This is absolutely unacceptable, is this supposed to fix what happened to Azerbaijanis in Russia? Nobody is responsible for someone else’s sins or crimes. If they’re not allowed to be in Azerbaijan anymore they should simply be asked to leave, not detained and even beat, wtf?

These literally mean nothing. Fuckin hell most notorious agents and scammers have fairly innocent public backstory. That’s part of their job description ffs. How can some commenters be this naive?

Oh no, poor Russians drug dealers.. 😂😂
This is really dumb, they don’t look anything like drug dealers.
Their identities don’t matter to Azerbaijani leadership.
By the way, the deceased had a nephew – [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramil_Safarov](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramil_Safarov)
