We know. The problem is evidence, testimony, and a crooked Supreme Court.

There was enough evidence presented of Pro V & V tampering with election machines in the past election that a federal judge allowed the lawsuit to proceed forward. The evidence presented at the initial hearing was pretty damning, and they said there was more to come. If they tampered with the last election, they sure as shit will do it again.

tRump will hold the midterms because they will be rigged through the vote counting machines, just like ’24 when he won all 7 swing states even though Dem voters didn’t flip on senators and down ballot races.

    4. I thought Carvilles‘ plan was to just sit back and watch, hoping they mess it up. Feels like some mixed messaging.

I love that old fart but James hasn’t picked a winner since 1996

Yep, which is why the Republicans in Congress are not worried about their voters objecting to cuts in Medicare. The elections will be rigged.

The US government is now really good at hacking and consolidating data.

Maybe the DNC can pay for some hand recounts in suspicious districts where the vote tallies don’t trigger an automatic recount.

Hell, I’ll fly on my own dime, pay for my own hotel and transportation, and work for free. If we’re convinced they’re cheating, let’s get some proof, not just Twurp-style whining.

    8. Considering that this guy is wrong basically every time I see him in a headline, this may be an indication to be less worried about the midterms.

I can’t understand what Carville is saying. He’s too busy sucking off Peter Theil. (Carville works for Palantir)

I hate analysis without a plan to defend our elections. What the fuck does is matter of we know what is going to happen if we stand around and do nothing?

If this probable then it is up to us to do something about this now while we still can. Boycotts? Yes! Strikes? Yes! Protests? Yes! Campaigning? Yes! Hunger Strikes? Yes! What ever we have to do to secure our country and our constitution. WHAT THE FUCK ARE WE DOING STANDING AROUND.

Giving my life to this thing isn’t enough!

Trump is a goober but even he probably knows it would be too ham fisted to NOT hold the midterms at all, instead there probably will be “elections” but the Rs will increase their margin in the House and somehow senate seats in GA and other states will flip to the Republican candidate and it’ll be explained away by “MAGA is becoming even more popular, look how great of a president I am!”

    11. This is one prediction he might actually get right sadly

That Trump would likely rig them is obvious (“find me 10,000 votes,” “if I lose it’s because there was massive fraud). But how will he do it? He’ll have to cook up a scheme that works at both state and federal levels.

It would be good if we could predict the things he will do to try and get out ahead of them

100%. The fix is already in kids. We’re in the eat popcorn phase of this impending disaster. Ain’t no getting off this track.

    13. James is correct. The only fly in the ointment is the so-called feud with Elmo. I suspect it’s all posturing so no one can point a finger at the obvious electronic cheating. („Elmo and Trump don’t like each other anD Elmo would never help him. FAKE NEWS!“).

May be the first time Carville was right about anything in a while.

A month ago Carville was telling everyone to relax and watch the right implode. This cretaceous era swamp-thing needs to crawl back into the bayou where he belongs.

I’m pretty sure Trump thought he rigged the 2020 election, but the mail-in votes screwed up his plan.

Then he made damn sure he rigged 2024 correctly.

Now we will never have a free and fair election again.

United States of Trump and Bibi

    17. PresidenteMozzarella on

No shit. Just wait until they start talking about „securing the election“ and it will be just that.

    18. They don’t even need to. He can just claimed there was election fraud and whoever he wishes was the actual winner. The SCOTUS will bend over backwards to accommodate that.

    19. itWasALuckyWind on

They attempted an actual coup. Every last one of them would be in prison if he hadn’t won the election.

You think they won’t go at least that far again? For fucks sake. *they already have*

It was a foregone conclusion that no future elections would be clean or probably even happening at all the minute the 2024 election result was certified.

It’s no good acting surprised now. If you didn’t know it, it’s because you didn’t want to.

    20. kjlsdjfskjldelfjls on

Yeah I’m sure he’ll try to, but I’d also prefer not to portray a guy with [shady connections to Peter Thiel and Palantir](https://www.theverge.com/2018/2/27/17054740/palantir-predictive-policing-tool-new-orleans-nopd) as some kind of authority figure.

      > Palantir first approached New Orleans in 2012 through a well-known intermediary: James Carville, the Democratic Party power broker and architect of Bill Clinton’s successful 1992 presidential campaign. Carville is a paid adviser of Palantir whose involvement with the data-mining company dates back at least to 2011.

    21. Today, Trump has openly threatened a Democrat running for mayor and to interfere in New York City’s mayoral race.

These is no dirty trick beyond Trump and his allies at this point.

Even if they can’t outright postpone or cancel election, what’s to stop Trump from putting Ice Agents at polling places? Or marching the Miltary into places that lead Democrat.

All under the excuse of ensuring elections will be secured.

    22. James Carville is long past his relevance.  He’s an old man screaming at the fucking clouds at this point.  If I have worries about election integrity it’s not because Carville decided to say something about it

    23. hillbillyspellingbee on

Extremely tired of pushing voter apathy.

If the election is rigged, we’re fucked.

But if people sit it out because they think it’s rigged, we have no chance at all.
