If anything can rally republicans, it’s screwing over the poor. They’ll pass it.
They’re going to hem and haw at this like always, but they will fall in line and pass it. They love to screw over America at every opportunity.

Feels to me like the congressional Republicans don’t want this pos legislation to pass, but feel they can’t vote against it, so their hope is to pass it between the house and senate making changes each time in hopes it will just drag on and eventually go away
I hate these headlines. They are trying to drive up viewership like it’s the NFL Superbowl. The headlines should say “House GOP are willing to make millions of Americans suffer with this bill”

This cannot in anyway be thought of as „good news“ because the ones holding their support are doing so because they don’t think the bill cuts enough from services that actually benefit the working class and don’t give enough back to the wealthy.

I live in a red state. I called and called and called my representative all morning. Actually was able to speak with her, I was shocked. I implored her to vote no on this bill and made my case with the facts and how it will cripple a vast majority of her constituents in this rural area. Did it make any difference? Who knows

Secretary Kennedy is the perfect example. His own family came out against him and Trump nominated him. Then Congress confirmed his nomination.
Pete Hegseth is not at all qualified. Yet he is serving as Secretary of Defense.

Then the necessary palms get greased and the bill passes.. same shit different day
This is going to pass. Republicans will all fall in line, and I wouldn’t be surprised if some Democrats flip and vote for it. I don’t like being all down about this, but I’m trying to be realistic based on what we’ve all seen in the past.
