This is one of a series of criminal sex cases of celebrities where everyone clutches their pearls because non-traditional sex is so taboo. Having wild orgies is legal. Most of the stuff R Kelly gets denigrated for is also legal. The public reacts to bisexual threesomes and pissing in people’s mouths but that’s all fine.

Underage sex, prostitution, non-consensual sex, and drugs are all illegal, and obviously those had roles in these cases.
