Ich habe gerade einen seltsamen Brief per Post mit einigen Gebühren bekommen, die ich bezahlen muss, und es sieht für mich nicht richtig aus, es kommt nicht von der Polizei, sondern von einem Inkassobüro, denke ich. Könntest du einen Blick darauf werfen und mich wissen lassen, ob es in der Tat eine Geldstrafe ist, die ich bezahlen muss oder einen Betrugsversuch. Ty im Voraus

It’s probably a scam, or else you’d get an official looking letter and a notification via doccle. Just check your myfin profile or your burgerprofiel. I mean, I never got a government letter that didn’t have detailed information about myself.
It looks like an amount in the same range of the provinciebelasting. Also in the same period of the year.

Te onwaarschijnlijk om echt te zijn, en nu heb ik nog wat brieven te posten.
Those amounts look like the ‚vlaamse sociale bescherming‘ which is indeed obligatory. These are normally collected through your „health insurance fund“ (zorgkas: solidaris, cm, …) Looks like you didn’t pay them.
At first sight this seems legit, but man, you need to have missed some letters before it comes to this.
*edit: I think you need to contact your ‚zorgkas‘.
1. if there is nothing in your box its probably a scam
2. Is your name on it? sus if not
3. Language is too informal (ik maan u aan, Ik vestig, … )
4. google the name of the person signing the letter.
Lijkt heel verdacht, zeker dat zinnetje „ik ben reeds in bezit van het dwangschrift“, dat is echt een bedreiging.
Ook dat er wordt gezegd dat je zeker niet aan de Belastingen mag betalen, maar op die onbekende rekeningnummer?
Is vals uiteraard , de kosten zijn belangrijk…. Niemand schrijft dit zo. En je mag zeker niet direct aan de vlaamse belastingsdienst betalen … men kan er dan beter “ maar aan mij” ook naast zetten .
